Overview
As part of our platform launch, we are introducing a limited matching fund initiative to incentivize new giving.
Rather than replacing existing donations, this campaign is intended to drive incremental support, helping more organizations benefit from donor engagement.
How the Matching Campaign Works
Charity Bridge Fund has allocated a $10,000 matching pool for this campaign.
Eligible donations made during the campaign period are matched 1:1, subject to the following conditions:
Each nonprofit can receive up to $1,000 in matching funds
Once a nonprofit reaches this cap, additional donations remain valid but are no longer matched
Matching funds are distributed on a first-come, first-served basis
The campaign ends when the $10,000 pool is fully allocated
Matching is not guaranteed. It depends on timing, nonprofit cap status, and remaining funds in the pool.
Donor Guidelines
Donors participating in the campaign should understand how matching applies at the transaction level.
Each eligible donation is matched dollar-for-dollar
You'll see a green "MATCH" icon on the donation path when the nonprofit is eligible for matching gifts.
Matching applies only during the active campaign period
Donations cannot be matched retroactively
Matching funds cannot be transferred between nonprofits
Final matched amounts will appear after the campaign concludes and transactions are verified
Nonprofit Participation Terms
Nonprofits play a critical role in ensuring the campaign achieves its purpose: expanding donor reach.
Participation implies agreement to the following:
A maximum of $1,000 in total matching funds per organization
Outreach should focus on engaging new donors, not rerouting existing giving
Campaign messaging must remain accurate and transparent
Charity Bridge Fund may review activity and communications for compliance
Misrepresentation or misuse of the campaign may result in removal from the match or exclusion from future campaigns.
Transparency and Reporting
We are committed to maintaining visibility into how funds are allocated.
During and after the campaign:
Progress updates may be shared with the community
A post-campaign summary report will detail distribution outcomes
Donors and nonprofits will have clear visibility into matched contributions
FAQ
How does the match work?
Each eligible donation is matched 1:1 until either the nonprofit reaches its $1,000 cap or the $10,000 campaign pool is exhausted.
Can I donate to multiple nonprofits?
Yes, and each donation can be matched independently as long as the nonprofit has not reached its cap and funds remain available.
What happens if the match cap is reached?
Your donation will still go through, but it will not be matched once the nonprofit cap or total pool limit has been reached.
Can matching funds be applied later or transferred?
No, matching only applies to qualifying donations made during the campaign period and cannot be reassigned.
Which nonprofits are eligible?
All verified nonprofits on Charity Bridge Fund that meet platform requirements and participate in the campaign.
How will I know if matching is still available?
Campaign updates will indicate when funds are running low or fully allocated.
When are matching funds distributed?
Matching funds are distributed after the campaign ends and all donations are verified.
How do I know that the charity is eligible for the matching campaign?
You will see a green icon that says "Match" in the donation path.
This campaign is structured to maximize fairness, transparency, and impact, ensuring that matching funds support new giving opportunities rather than duplicating existing contributions.
