Overview
Charity Bridge Fund helps charities become more visible to potential funding partners. To make this process more transparent, we include an Opt-In checkbox in your charity profile. This checkbox lets you decide whether Charity Bridge Fund may share the information you provide with selected partners, including donor-advised funds, institutions, and other organizations that may review, support, or help facilitate funding opportunities.
Where to Find the Opt-In Checkbox

Log in to your account, open the Charity Management Dashboard, and go to Your Charities
Select your charity profile from the dashboard to view and edit your organization’s information.
Navigate to the Overview page within your charity profile. This is where your main profile details, including your mission information, are displayed.
The Mission Overview field on the Overview page is at the bottom. This section contains the summary of your charity’s mission and purpose.
The Opt-In checkbox appears directly below the Mission Overview field. This checkbox controls whether Charity Bridge Fund may share your charity information with possible funding partners.
Check the box if you agree to allow Charity Bridge Fund to share your charity information with possible funding partners. Leave the box unchecked if you do not want Charity Bridge Fund to showcase or share your profile with those partners.
What the Opt-In Means
By selecting the Opt-In checkbox, you give Charity Bridge Fund permission to collect, use, and share the information you provide with third parties, including donor-advised funds and other funding partners. This may be done for purposes such as evaluation, due diligence, and facilitating funding opportunities.
This opt-in is central to how Charity Bridge Fund helps connect charities with possible funding opportunities. At the same time, it gives you control and visibility over whether your charity profile can be shared beyond the platform.

Choosing Not to Opt In or Opting Out Later

You can also withdraw your consent at any time by returning to your Charity Profile and unchecking the Opt-In box. This may be useful if your charity profile is already published, but you do not want Charity Bridge Fund to showcase or share your information with potential funding partners at this time.
Before choosing not to opt in or opting out later, keep in mind:
You can update your sharing preference from your Charity Profile.
Leaving the box unchecked means Charity Bridge Fund will not share your charity information with potential funding partners based on this opt-in.
Unchecking the box later stops future sharing based on your updated preference.
Information that has already been shared with partners may not be able to be revoked.
Some funding opportunities may not be available if partner review requires information sharing.
